Potty Training Tips and Necessities

It’s time to start seriously thinking about potty training and I was in need for tips and necessities! He’s showing more interest so I think it’s time we just take his momentum and run with it.

To get him {more} excited we purchased the following things: {I let him pick which characters were on each}

A potty! I let him choose which one he wanted, and he picked this one
He is obsessed with Lightning, and it even makes fun sounds, which he loves!
A stool so he can climb up on the potty all by himself! And wash his hands all by himself. He loves to wash his hands!!!
Aren’t these little underwear the cutest ever? Oh how this little boy loves Elmo!
He loves to read “Elmo Potty”
I made him a cute chart and put skittles in a glass jar so he can see his prize.
When he goes pee pee in the potty he gets one skittle
When he goes poop in the potty he gets two!
Excited to try it out.

    I NEED some potty training tips! My little one is almost 2-1/2, and we’re not making much progress. My oldest was out of diapers before two, and now I know I just lucked out on that one! My youngest will try to sit on the potty, but nothing has happened so far. Hopefully we are going to have some success soon! We have that same Elmo step 🙂
