CT Bloggers at J. Timothy’s Taverne

style="text-align: center;">This last weekend I went to a CT bloggers event at J. Timothy’s Taverne and it was SO.FUN!
Where I’m from there’s a “if you can help me succeed I’ll help you…if not sorry” mentality when it comes to blogs, which I have always thought was so weird. It’s not like that here at all, and it’s a breath of fresh air. Their blogs are really successful too, but they don’t hang that over your head.
The event was organized by Wendy and Greg over at Connecticut Bloggers and the location of choice was J. Timothy’s Taverne in Plainville. The most amazing food ever! I can’t wait to introduce their wings to The Mr.. When my family comes out to visit this will definitely be on our to do list
Grabbed this picture from Pappa Don’t Preach
Here are some of the ladies I met
Katie from Walk In Love
Caitlin from Cait Plus Ate
Your Truly
Dominique from Craftfully Cooks
This was our menu for the night
Thanks Domonique my photos didn’t turn out!
So J. Timothy’s is known for their wings but they wanted to show us there was more to them than their “Dirt Wings” and they didn’t disappoint!
Let me ask you, have you had Butternut Squash Ravioli before?
Well I hadn’t and boy have I missed out!!! It was amazing!!!
Having served at CPK for 4+ years I have had many waldorf but nothing compares to their scallop waldorf salad. I’m already a fan of scallops but theirs are melt in your mouth good. And their dressing was a champagne honey vinaigrette. I’ve gotta get my  hands on some of that.
Pappa Don’t Preach…thanks girl!

As you can see from the menu we had a lot more dishes but the Chocolate Truffles were to die for, and the perfect way to end the night. I had 2 and I’m not ashamed about it.
If you’re ever in CT you have to go to J. Timothy’s Taverne it WILL knock your socks off.
Thanks again Wendy, Greg and J. Timothy’s!
Can’t wait for our next event 🙂
