My Favorite Things, Toddler Edition

style="text-align: center;">Being the mom to an active toddler is just about the most fun (and exhausting) thing I’ve ever done. With Christmas coming up I’ve done a lot of thinking about what he needs, and what he would want. Want? Wait, he isn’t even two yet, he doesn’t fully grasp the meaning of want.
Here are a few of my favorite things, Toddler Edition

No-pedal balance bike
These things are amazing! Have you ever seen one? They help with balance and coordination which are easier to learn without pedals. Who knew? Our neighbor’s little boy had one and he had so much fun. I feared for his life every time he’d whip around the cul-de-sac though! And here I am, wishing one on my son. He’d of course wear the helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, wrist pads, body suit…ya know, the works.

A desk like the one pictured above
My little guy loves sitting in a chair, makes him feel so big! He loves reading, drawing, all of the above. I just think it would be so fun to have a spot just for him. In my own perfect little world he’d sit there and play while I cook dinner, or bake something. Ahh, bliss!

Could you die? Isn’t this the cutest thing ever?
Oh wait…this is a list for my toddler! Not me?
That white wouldn’t go very far! Plus, I don’t think he would appreciate this beautifully tufted chair as much as I would.

I think this one is more his style!
