Quaker Granola

I love Quaker Natural Granola. Love it. It’s one of my favorite cereals. Nothing better then warming it up in the microwave SO.GOOD! I was at Costco one day and didn’t want to spend my life savings so I went in and actually got what I was going there for in the first place. I saw the granola and seriously considered getting it but decided not to…even though I really, really wanted to. I decided I would try making some myself! And that’s exactly what I did.

It was gone in 2 days! I need to remember to double my recipe!
I can’t eat yogurt alone, it has to be with granola or something, that’s why it goes so fast! I eat it for breakfast and then nibble on it when I want a snack throughout the day. Yum.

Double Yum!

Ingredients2 cups oats
1/2 cup agave nectar
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup raisins
1/4 c sliced almonds
1/4 c coconut
1-1/2Tbsp ground flaxseed
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray and set aside
Combine agave nectar, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir
Add oats and stir until they are completely covered in mixture
Add raisins, sliced almonds, coconut and flaxseed. Stir
Spread oat mixture onto prepared cookie sheet and bake for 7-8 minutes until granola is slightly browned.
Let cool until granola is crunchy.
I love my granola chunky and crunchy!
*Next Time I’ll use a little less agave nectar. It was pretty sweet!
