Ravioli with Apples and Walnuts

I really love this recipe because it’s quick and so delicious. It’s perfect when you’re in a pinch. It is not necessary to make homemade ravioli when you can buy them already prepared. I mean, unless you want to make them obviously. After trying this recipe I’m a believer, I need to have frozen ravioli on hand.

Ravioli with Apples and Walnuts. Perfect recipe in a pinch, having frozen ravioli on hand is now a must!

Ravioli with Apples and Walnuts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds cheese ravioli {fresh or frozen}
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 apple, cut into matchsticks {I used Pink Lady}
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli according to package instructions
  2. Heat oil in skillet over low to medium heat. Add the chopped walnuts and cook, consistently stirring, until lightly toasted. You do not want to over cook your walnuts!
  3. Add the apples, parsley and toss to combine
  4. Spoon over the ravioli and sprinkle with parmesan cheese
  5. Enjoy!
