Traveling To Utah

My husband and I moved to Connecticut for grad school and both our families live in Utah. My parents needed to see their grandson so it was time to get on a plane and visit! It had been about 6 months too long since we had visited so it was much needed for everyone…especially me! Being away from family is hard enough, but add never being able to spend time with your husband on top of it and it can make for some pretty hard times. Easton turns 2 in July so we needed to get one more “free” trip in before we had to start paying for his ticket. But I’ve gotta tell ya, I can’t wait to start paying for his ticket…that will be money well spent!

He always sits like this in his carseat and I love it!
Sorry the picture above and below this are blurry…I had the iphone camera facing us so I could see therefore the picture quality is drastically reduced.
Kisses at the airport. I will never, ever, ever under any circumstances wear red lipstick when I’m saying goodbye to my sweet husband for three weeks.
The Jet Blue terminal at JFK is the best terminal ever! Is that weird to say? Maybe! But it really is. I wish I had a picture of the wallpaper before because it was so cute, but I love this too.
Easton had a complete melt down at the airport when we had to leave my husband behind. He was crying for Daddy for what seemed like forever. I started to tear up myself, it was so sad! He did manage to recover however.
Headphones $8 … best purchase ever!
Luckily our neighbor was a grandpa! Easton kept climbing up on the armrest, and I of course took him down every time. Eventually I had to take a picture! …wouldn’t you?
Stay tuned for a post on my tips for traveling with a toddler!
