Watch Quote Process With Crown & Caliber

We are in the process of moving. Well sort of. My husband is graduating from graduate school in two weeks, takes the national boards a couple weeks later and then we move. We aren’t 100% sure where we’re moving yet, and all I want to do is pack our stuff up and get out of this two bedroom apartment.  Unfortunately it’s too early to start packing. I have gone through our clothes and taken several bags to Goodwill, which was so invigorating. There is this one pile of barely worn clothes sitting by our door, however. It’s been there for well over a month. Just waiting. …and waiting. Waiting for me to take them to a local consignment shop. I figure making some money here and there wouldn’t hurt! For some reason taking them to my car, driving 20 minutes to the shop, seeing if they will even accept them, then driving back home {another 20 minutes} seems like way too much work for a couple dollars!

Wouldn’t it be nice if I could just figure out if they’d accept my clothes from home? Then I could determine if that drive with a toddler and an infant was worth it!

That’s why I love Crown & Caliber. Have you heard of it? They are a trusted buyer and seller of pre-owned luxury watches, and they make it so simple. Right in the comfort of your home! {Music to my ears}. All you have to do is submit information on your luxury watch and their team of evaluation experts will compile a quote on the value of your watch.

Let me walk you through it.

  1. Submit information on your watch through a form on the Crown & Caliber website, here. Information like the make, model and condition of the watch you would like to submit for a quote.
  2. Talk with an expert horologist who will help provide the mod accurate assessment.
  3. Within a day or two you will receive two quotes 1) a cash offer and 2) a consignment offer.
  4. Regardless of the option chosen, C&C sends pre-paid/insured packaging materials to ship the watch in.
  5. Upon arrival C&C verifies and authenticates the watch
  6. If you chose to consign then C&C cleans, services, photographs, and lists your watch for sale, to tens of thousands of interested buyers!
  7. Watch is sold and payment is provided, or, the original cash offer is provided, depending on which option you chose.

BONUS:

  • You don’t need to send your watch in to receive a quote!
  • Traditionally companies do not tell you how they arrived at the number they are giving you for the quote, but C&C provides more info ration {and money} to their customers!
Isn’t that awesome? So instead of having to go all over town to different consignment shops, in hopes of selling your watch you can do it all in the comfort of your home! PLUS have a lot more interested buyers than a few people walking into the brick and mortar store.
So whether you’re selling a luxury watch, or in the market for one yourself, you’ve got to check out Crown & Caliber! They get several new watches a day, so check back often!

Such a great idea! I don’t own a luxury watch, per se, but if I want one now I know where to look! I wish everyone made consigning things so easy!!

Okay, so this is cool! I am going to let my husband know about this! He has a handful of nice watches from when he worked in jewelry sales, but he only wears maybe 1-2 of them. The extra cash would definitely be nice, and I am all about not having to drive all over town to find the best offer for them! Thank you for sharing, Hilary! 🙂
