101 Gourmet Cake Bites Giveaway

I can’t believe it! When I started this blog it was for personal reasons, as simple as that! Calling my mom every time I was cooking one of her recipes was getting old so I decided to write it all down…and NOW I have a giveaway! How did that happen?
Cedar Fort is giving one of Wendy Paul’s Cookbooks away to one of my lucky followers!!!
I couldn’t be happier about this…I wish I could win it…even though I have 2 of them already. Her most recent cookbooks (cupcakes and cake bites) are hardback and ring bound which is so convenient because you don’t have to worry about the book closing on you! I have the first edition cupcake cookbook, but I need the newest addition because it has 9 BONUS RECIPES that I can’t live without. (That last part was for my husband, hint hint!)

Here’s How To Enter:

1.  Tell us in a comment here: “What your favorite holiday cookie/cupcake/cake bite is”

2.  For extra entries, Like us on Facebook using this link and leave a comment.
3.  Visit www.wendypaulcreations.com from now through November 30th to help you decide which cookbook you would like.
4.  Contest ends Wednesday November 23, 2011 8pm MST.  Winners will be chosen via Random.org. I will notify the winner on this blog on November 25. You will have 10 days to email me your information, after 10 days I will draw another name.

Note: If you live in the United States or Canada you will receive a hard copy.
International will receive an e-book!

SO EXCITED!!!

My favorite is the Pumpkin Whoopie Pie. It’s not a pie. Not really a cake but not quite a cookie. But it’s pure yumminess!

I would have to go with a favorite cupcake – cupcakes are like heaven to me. For me, chocolate is an anytime/any holiday flavor and right now my favorite cupcake is a Mayan Chocolate Cupcake with a Cocoa-Cinnamon frosting. It has cayenne pepper in the recipe which gives the cupcake a little kick and sends you spinning into a chocolatey heaven you never knew existed! 🙂

My favourite holiday cookie would have to be the classic shortbread cookie. My Mom makes the best. I’m not sure that they’re much different from when she makes them at any other time of year, but she cuts them with Christmas cookie cutters and sprinkles on red and green sprinkles. They are wonderful!

How to narrow down a favourite…
I love everything and anything on a chocolate cake. For the holidays (depending on which one) I love to add a bit of holiday flavour to it. Pumpkin, peppermint, gingerbread.

    Thanks!

I think my favorite holiday cookie would have to be my mom’s homemade sugar cookies. She has an awesome recipe and every time I think about her cookies I just think of the holidays. They have nutmeg in them so it’s got a different flavor then other sugar cookie recipes and she makes delicious cream cheese frosting
