Copycat Chick-fil-A Nuggets

We love Chick-fil-A, and I’m so happy to finally have a copycat Chick-fil-a Nuggets recipe. It is so good! We love going there and my boys always get the nuggets, so it’s nice having a recipe I can make at home now. Dip it in honey and I am one happy mama! Go try this and let me know wha you think!

Copycat Chick-fil-A Nuggets

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Canola oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breast into bit size pieces, trimming off any fat
  2. Whisk milk and eggs together in a large bowl. Place cubed chicken pieces in the milk mixture and place the bowl in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In another large bowl combine the dry ingredients listed above, and stir
  4. In a large sauce pan pour oil so its at least an inch deep on med/high heat
  5. Once heated, remove chicken from fridge and place about 8 pieces in milk mixture, then into the flour mixture, make sure all chicken pieces are coated with flour
  6. Place chicken into oil, cook each side until golden brown, being sure chicken is no longer pink inside.
  7. Place cooked chicken on paper towels to soak up any oil
  8. Repeat until all the chicken is cooked, and serve

I just ate, but now I want these instead! Is that bad?!! Guess I’m going to have to wait for dinner, but they do look scrumptious! Thanks from all of us at Throwback Thursday for linking up to us this week! We can’t wait to see what you’ll bring next week. 🙂
