How to Wear Monochromatic
  • Add texture

    • Different materials add variation to an otherwise monotonous outfit.
    • I get lots of texture from the skirt, pockets on my blouse and purse
  • Keep it simple, sleek and classy
    • I have a pair of fabulous nude heels, here, but they are far from classy. These pink heels are a much better pick for this outfit.
  • Mix and Match Patterns
    • Incorporating patterns will prevent the colors from looking the same.
    • The lace skirt adds visual interest. So does the purse. I think something like this adds a lot more then just a white or cream clutch. However, if I had a clutch in a fabulous color that would add an extra pop that wouldn’t take away from the monochromatic look.
