Chocolate Sugar Cookies

Chocolate Sugar Cookies-so simple yet so good!

There’s nothing I love more than baking tasty treats then giving them to good friends. Sugar Cookies are so popular, especially during the holidays, but today I’m going to share with you my recipe for Chocolate Sugar Cookies. I’m also going to show you a really fun, festive, and easy way to embellish those gift bags for all your friends. Perfect timing right?

Remember last year? That time you had an unexpected friend drop off a holiday gift, treat or craft for you? And you thanked them profusely and explained how your Chocolate Sugar Cookies weren’t quite ready yet! Then the next day you rushed out to get all the ingredients so you could make them. Right. Well let’s not let that happen again, ok! This year you can make a batch of your World Famous Cookies {ok double the recipe!} and bag them up and top it off with a cute gift bag topper!

If you’re really prepared, you can find a link to tips for freezing your holiday cookies below.

  8. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before removing to racks. Move to racks so they can cool completely
  9. Store in air tight container
