  1. Part your hair down the middle. One each side separate the top half and the bottom half
  2. Gather the top right section and divide it into three sections
  3. Cross the sections
  4. Add hair to the section, and cross
  5. Add hair to the section on the other side, and cross
  6. Repeat 2 times then continue on with a regular braid through the end
  7. Repeat steps 3-6 for the top left section, bottom right then bottom left section
  8. Combine the top sections with an elastic
  9. Combine the tail of the top section with the two bottom braids

I loooove braids. Last summer that’s all I did with my hair because it was so hot, so instead of putting it up in a regular ponytail I started to play with it a little bit. I haven’t tried this hair style out yet so I will definitely do that! Glad that your jewelry came in just in time for Mother’s Day, can’t wait to see them in future posts. Hope to see you at today’s linkup!

What a sweet and pretty way to do your hair! I’ll be sure to show this one to my daughter–she’s going to some music festivals this summer, and I think this might be a a chic and fun style for her!

Your hair is so perfect! I wish I could do something like this to my hair, but I chopped it off. Maybe one day when it grows back, I’ll have enough upper arm strength to do it in my hair 🙂
