Family Fun || Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament

I am here to tell you about one of the most fun experiences we have had all together as a family. We went to Medieval Times. It is a family dinner theater featuring medieval-style games, sword-fighting, and jousting.

My boys had the absolute best time. As we were leaving they asked if we could go again next year! I didn’t have the heart to tell them that there was another show starting in a half hour, and they weren’t actually knights and a princess in there.

They are now obsessed with knights and jousting.

They are still pretending like they are knights. They alternate between horse, and knight, and act out everything all day long. It’s pretty spectacular!

The absolute best part of the night was watching my boys get so excited. Another great part was definitely the comfort food. Our meal started out with garlic bread and tomato bisque soup. My 4-year old could not get enough of the soup. To be honest I was absolutely shocked! I never would have guessed he would have eaten it, let alone loved it! Needless to say we will be having tomato bisque soup in the near future!

They also served roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, and the most delicious herb-basted potatoes. I could eat those potatoes every single day. Yum!

My boys keep asking us when we can go again. I’m definitely hoping to take the boys when my parents come in town to visit. My parents would love to see how excited the boys get to see all the knights.
