Do’s and Don’ts of wearing Peplum
DO
  1. Make sure if it’s a blouse or a jacket {not a dress} you wear form fitting pants or a pencil skirt
  2. If you’re a curvier woman, go for a peplum that hits your higher waist, that way the peplum shape can help conceal, not highlight
  3. Get your color block on
  4. Wear pumps. The Peplum already interrupts your silhouette so you don’t want to wear ankle boots, T-straps, ankle straps, gladiators. Basically don’t wear anything that cuts the line of the leg.
    1. Did you notice my straps? They cross down on the foot, not high on the ankle.

DON’T
  1. Refer to #4 on the Do list
  2. Don’t wear too short of a skirt-unless you have rockin legs…in that case do whatever you want, haha. If your skirt is too short it will interrupt the natural line of your leg. You want to give the illusion of long and lean, which an at knee, or just below knee length skirt will do.
  3. You don’t want your print to be too busy. No one wants to look like they took their grandmother’s old curtains and sewed them into a Peplum dress…do they?
