Grilled Corn On The Cob (In The Husk)

I love corn! Love it. I could seriously eat it at every meal. It can’t be canned though, I don’t like the flavor of it. Don’t try and trick me either because I can tell the difference!
We were eating dinner at a friend’s house and we cooked the corn on the grill… with the husk still on.
I suggest you try it out yourself while grilling this summer!
Corn on the Cob
Grilled in the Husk
Directions
Peel off excess husk…you only need 2-3 layers still intact
Place corn on the grill
Turn 1/4 rotations every 2-3 minutes
When the entire husk has blackened, remove from the grill
Peel away husk
It was amazing! Adds such a natural smokey flavor to it.
The heat of the grill causes the natural sugars in the corn to caramelize turning some of the kernels brown. The more browning, the sweeter the corn.

We belong to a CSA and are currently getting 14 ears a corn a week. I am glad to find a new way to cook corn.

We belong to a CSA. Corn is in season now and we get 14 ears a week. There are only two of us, so I am always looking for a way to use corn! This looks great. Thanks for the recipe!

I’ve always wondered how to do this. Now I know the secret – not too many layers of husk! Thanks so much for posting 🙂
