I don’t always have success when I make cookies so decided to try out a cookie bar
When I went to the grocery store in hopes of finding some cute Valentine’s Day M&M’s I couldn’t find one bag of plain M&M’s anywhere. But it turned out even better, because I like the extra flavor and texture the peanut butter adds.
Peanut Butter M&M Cookie Bars Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1+1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1+ 3/4 cup M&Ms, divided
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy
- Beat in eggs and vanilla
- Add flour, baking powder and salt
- Stir in 1 cup of the M&M’s and the white chocolate chips
- Spoon into a greased 9×13, and sprinkle the remaining M&Ms over the top
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes
- Cool on a wire rack, then cut them
