Pumpkin Nutella Swirl Bread

I love pumpkin and I love Nutella, so it only make sense that together they would combine to be a killer combination! I think they were made for each other. Needless to say, this particular bread didn’t last long around here.

Recipe adapted from A Pinch of Glitter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oil
  • 2-2/3 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can (15 oz.) Pumpkin puree
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3-1/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1-1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbs. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 jar (13 oz.) Nutella, divided

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oil, sugar, eggs, pumpkin and water
  2. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pumpkin spice, and vanilla and stir until combined (batter may be slightly lumpy)
  3. Pour 1/4 of the batter into the bottom of two 9×5 loaf pans (using only half of the batter total)
  4. Slightly warm the Nutella in the microwave in 10 second increments and stir, repeating 3 times, or until it is a runny consistency
  5. Pour half of the Nutella in each loaf pan, and spread evenly over the entire layer of bread batter
  6. Divide the remaining batter evenly between the two loaves and pour on top of the Nutella layer
  7. Using a knife, lightly swirl the Nutella around
  8. Bake at 350 for 60-80 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center
  9. Wait 15 minutes, remove bread from pans, allow to cool on a wire rack
  10. Drizzle melted Nutella on top if desired
