Revolt Now Fitness Review

Being healthy is really important to me. Ya I’m not always good at it, and I could most definitely be better, there’s no question about that!

I belong to a gym that offered a one hour free training session with a trainer upon signing up. I went to said training session that turned out to be more like a 20 workout with the remaining 40 minutes of them trying to convince me to sign up for a personal trainer. A personal trainer that would cost me an extra $30 a month for one 30 minute session…a month. Yes you read that right. I kind of wanted to throw up in my mouth. If you wanted two 30 minute sessions it was going to cost $50 a month. I didn’t even want to know what it would cost for one one hour session a month. Yuck.

I never expected to get a personal trainer, but I left that “consultation” a little more disappointed then I was when I showed up. Well that’s not entirely true, they did tell me that my “current health age” is 24…3 years younger then my ripe old age of 27. Pretty good, eh?!

I love a good gym class though, they’re my favorite! I love Zumba and weight lifting classes but I also know there are other important things I need to be doing outside of the classroom. I don’t need a personal trainer so I can loose weight, I need one so I can know what to do. {PS my husband is an athletic trainer so he totally knows what to do…but I get mad at him when we work out together, haha. Plus I don’t want to go to the gym when I do get to see him, which is almost never anyway}.

Because I’m unsure what to do on my own I was really excited to learn about Revolt Now Fitness. Here’s a little bit about it:

  • It’s a simple program with daily workouts and meals.
  • They have a Facebook community where everyone is following the same 6-week program, called Uprisings.
  • The diet plan is full of metabolism boosting meals which change on a weekly basis. They even include a nightly “dessert” and a “free day” every Saturday.
  • Each 6 week Uprising is made into a competition. The current one, beginning March 4, 2013 is for $10,000.
What do you think? Are you up for Revolt?
