http://www.stives.com/Winter weather can be brutal on our skin so I decided to share some winter skin care tips for women. No matter what time of year it is my husband is always telling me how soft my skin is. He loves it! And I love it too because I can’t handle having dry skin on any part of my body. After I shower, I can’t put clothes without applying lotion. If I wash my hands I put lotion on immediately after. Obsessed? Maybe. I just know the difference between dry vs moistened skin.Winter weather can be brutal on our skin, here are my winter skin care tips for women found at www.Embellishmints.comThis is the new St. Ives® Refresh & Revive Pear Nectar & Soy Body Wash and Body Lotion. They are made with 100% natural moisturizers, including pear extract and soy, and they are great for sensitive skin. My sweet 4-year-old has really sensitive skin so I’m always on the lookout for soaps and lotions that he can use.

I sometimes have reactions to certain products too so I prefer using products that are paraben-free, which these are. Plus these boost skin’s natural radiance, and they’re formulated to rejuvenate skin. Winter Skin Care Tips For Women:

  • Apply Lotion: Put lotion on immediately after getting out of the shower and every time you wash your hands. Unless you wear gloves your hands are exposed to the cold weather outside and making sure you apply lotion often will help ensure they don’t get chapped.
  • Humidifier: Central heating and space heaters can dry your skin out, so if you have one handy I suggest turning a humidifier on. Humidifiers get more moisture in the air which helps prevent your skin from drying out.
  • Water: Drink water. Do it. Do it again. Drink more.
  • Warm Showers: Stay in the shower for a shorter amount of time, and make sure it’s not super hot. Warm showers are better for your skin because hot water can cause you to loose moisture.
