It’s hard to do fashion in the Windy City with all this wind. Sometimes the wind is so crazy, and with short hair there’s not much else you can do about.
I love the detail of this blouse! The back opens and goes down to a point. So much more fun than a plain blue button up. If you really want to enhance your wardrobe look for minimal pieces with interesting cuts and details because they make the best wardrobe staples!
{Turns out Chicago isn’t called the Windy City because it’s windy here…it has to do with politics. Who knew you’d learn so much around here, ha! I had no idea that was the case until this summer.}
PS…make sure you paint your fingernails. That always helps put an outfit together.
Wow.. I really do like the combination of this blue/white striped dress with red heels! 🙂
I’m actually a bit bummed out that I didn’t think about that when I did a shoot with a similar dress! 😛

That is a great shirt, I’ve seen something similar recently (with a cut open back) and thought how fun it was 🙂 I love your skirt too!

I’m from the Windy City and I didn’t know that it got it’s name because of politics?!? So funny.
I do know how windy it gets though, but your photos are beautiful despite the wind. Love the large stripes and the cobalt blue, very chic! Thank you for linking up with SHOE AND TELL on Style Nudge!

Yeah, isn’t that crazy? It does get sooo windy, so it works for both reasons! Darn wind, ha!
