Being a boy mom was my destiny. I of course never imagined that but now I can’t imagine anything else. I love my boys, and the fun they have brought into my life. While all my girlfriends with daughters are watching and reading about Disney princesses, I’m watching and reading about fast cars, dinosaurs, and wild animals. Needless to say I try and add a lot of variety into their life, which can be difficult since was {and am} about as girly girl as it gets. I’m better at it now than I was a few years ago, and that will continue.
Like I mentioned, my boys like fast cars. Their favorite movies include cars. They’re always saving their quarters, and picking up any spare change they can find so they can purchase Hot Wheels. They love those $0.99 cars, and it’s amazing how much they are motivated by them.
Coming up soon is the IMSA WeatherTech Championship Series Racing on Fox Sports. I’m looking forward to watching it with my boys!

I love IMSA Racing because the cars that race come from the world’s top auto manufacturers. My boys choose who they want to win based off their favorite color – Orange – and by how unique the car is.

This post brought a smile to my face as I was a boy mom and played cars and learned the names of many dinosaurs too! We finally did have a daughter but those years with just me and my boys were very special ones. Thanks for sharing at Over the Moon.
I like racing and I might watch if I have time. I am more of a NASCAR, Indy Car and Formula 1 guy.
