Chicken Parmesan Casserole… 30 Minutes Or Less

As a stay at home mom of two very active boys dinner time can be a little stressful! So whenever I have a recipe that takes 30 minutes or less to prepare and get on the table I’m beyond excited to share! This recipe is a family favorite, but it only requires one dish, and you don’t have to worry about cooking the chicken all the way through because it’s already cooked. You are going to love this Chicken Parmesan Casserole.


Ragu has a five different Homestyle pasta sauces you can choose from:

  • Homestyle Thick and Hearty Traditional Sauce
  • Homestyle Thick and Hearty Meat Sauce
  • Homestyle Thick and Hearty Four Cheese Sauce
  • Homestyle Thick and Hearty Roasted Garlic Sauce
  • Homestyle Thick and Hearty Mushroom Sauce


It’s funny how different {yet the same} my boys are. My oldest loves the noodles, and my youngest loves eating the croutons. It’s the little things in life I tell ya! We kind of have a mandatory no shirt rule when we eat pasta sauce. It’s a game I have to see how long their clothes can go without getting a stain. Sometimes they go 15 whole minutes!

Chicken Parmesan Casserole… 30 Minutes Or Less

For this delicious recipe I used the Homestyle Ragu Thick and Hearty Four Cheese sauce. Any of the 5 mentioned above would be amazing, however.

Chicken Parmesan Casserole… 30 Minutes Or Less

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 can chicken
  • 2 cups RAGU Homestyle Thick and Hearty Four Cheese Sauce
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 5oz. package garlic croutons
  • 1/2 pkg angel hair pasta {cooked according to instructions}

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Coat bottom of a 8x8 dish with olive oil, and garlic
  3. Arrange chicken on bottom of the dish, pour RAGU sauce over the chicken
  4. Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese over marinara sauce, followed by half the Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle on the croutons, then top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and remaining Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake in preheated oven until cheese and croutons are golden brown. About 15-20 minutes.

  • 1 can chicken? what the heck is that? Do you mean that disgusting canned chicken that is in the aisle with the tuna and canned ham? I would sooner take the time and use a real chicken breast.
