I’m really excited to share a collaboration with Ieena for Mac Duggal, an upcoming fashion designer in the Chicago area. Ieena’s father, Mac Duggal, has been designing dresses {and confident women} for nearly 30 years. You can see his designs on celebrities and at pagents like Miss America. Ieena’s designs are geared for the everyday woman. Dresses you can wear for a wedding or brunch. They’re versatile, relatable and beyond beautiful. The amount of detail that goes into each design is apparent from every angle, especially the silhouette. They are beautiful.
I went to their studio and was able to try on Ieena’s designs first hand and really experience their superior quality myself. This will be a 4 part series where I will share a new dress and how I styled it, so stay tuned and check back often!
This dress and leather jacket were made for each other. The soft grey works perfectly with this beautiful blue dress. I was wearing 5″ heels and the length was perfect. The pattern on this dress was so ornate I didn’t wear too many accessories. You could definitely pile on a few delicate necklaces, but I’d steer clear from statement pieces so you don’t take away from the design. But if you must, I suggest wearing a bold, geometric, or chunky white necklace. Of course there’s always a diamond necklace. Diamonds go with everything. You could even wear two strands of diamonds, or a stacked pearl necklace. Beautiful!
I had so much fun and can’t wait to work together again. If you live in the Chicago area they are doing a nation wide search for a model the last weekend in February, and will also be having a trunk show. Go check out their pieces, which can also be found at Nordstrom, and other great stores.
