We celebrated my sweet 3-year-old’s birthday this last month and all he wanted was a Cars Lightning McQueen Party. So we of course had one! If you’re looking for some Cars Kids Party inspiration you’ve come to the right place. I’m also sharing our fine tuned kids party food list.

I’ve learned a lot with each birthday party we’ve had and I have fine tuned what we serve. I used to plan Pinterest worthy food ideas but I found that none ever ate the food. Sounds crazy, but it’s true. I was tired of spending a lot of money on food that was never eaten, so now we celebrate from 1-3 and I serve appetizers, treats and cake. Since it’s from 1-3 that lets everyone know that lunch won’t be served, however, I want to make sure we have plenty of food options to pick from because little kids are always hungry. At least our boys are.

Kids Party Food List

• Fruit: apples, watermelon, pineapple
• Cheese and crackers
• Veggie tray
• Chips
• Bottled water, soda, juice boxes

We had a really fun Easter Egg hunt. Was it easter? No. But boy did the kids love it? What’s not to love? There was a ton of candy for them to pick up. So fun.
