It’s that time of year again…back to school! Depending on where you live school may have already started, or you may have one more epic weekend to celebrate before you cart those little angels of yours {or yourself} back to school! Regardless of when school starts in your house, I think we can all agree that it’s important to send everyone out the door with a full stomach. Whether you have one child or 6 I’m sure you’re looking to reclaim your savings once again! And your time! Making breakfast and getting everyone out the door on time can be difficult, and sometimes near impossible, and that’s why I love Price Chopper’s back to school solutions center, #PriceChopperB2S. They have everything you need to make breakfast painless {and mindless} during that morning rush hour in your house. I’m excited to share two recipes with you using their B2S solutions center.
If I told you I couldn’t wait for my toddler to start preschool would that make me the worst mom ever? He turned three this summer and he’s starting pre-school this year. I’m sure that first day will be full of emotions, but overall I’m beyond excited! For the both of us. He loves learning and playing with new friends so why wouldn’t I be excited for him? Honestly I think most moms are more excited than they let on, I mean my Instagram feed is bombarded with sad moms…or so they say!
I love traditions and making special days really stick out so on my little boy’s very first day of school I’m going to make him a very special breakfast!
These pancakes are such a breeze.
They’re so thick and fluffy.
They’re easy, convenient and perfect!

These Honey Nut Cheerio Breakfast Bars are a yummy and perfect for on the go. Make these ahead of time, just incase you’re running behind on the morning of the first day of school. It’s always good to have a backup plan. Well for me anyway!
Honey Nut Cheerios Bars
Ingredients
- 4 cups Honey Nut Cheerios
- 1 cup lightly salted cashews
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper
- Combine cheerios and cashews to a large bowl
- In a microwave safe bowl combine the honey, coconut oil, and brown sugar. Microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Once smooth quickly add the baking soda, salt and vanilla
- Pour the honey mixture over the cheerios
- Place the cheerios into the prepared baking dish
- Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown on top {times may vary}
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. I suggest storing them in the fridge as they may separate and crumble. If that happens you could also sprinkle them on top of your cheerios in the morning!

Ok where is the recipe for Burberry syrup?
should there be lemon juice or lemon zest in the pancakes?
If you would like a more distinct lemon taste then lemon juice would definitely help. I would add it by taste. Lemon zest is a great idea too! I love it.!.

Correct, Lemon yogurt 🙂
