Fig Cranberry Mozzarella Caprese Salad

I really love fancy things and I’m beyond excited to share this new, fancy recipe with you! I seriously believe this is one recipe you will want to put on your permanent party dish menu. You must try this Fig Cranberry Mozzarella Caprese Salad!

I feel silly admitting this because I now see the error in my way, but I had never tried a fig until a couple weeks ago. My husband played in a three day golf tournament at a local country club and one night they had a reception and it was full of the most amazing food. I probably went back three times… no joke. I hope he plays in the tournament again next year so we can go back!

Anyway, back to figs… I tried an amazing fig and lamb dish that night and I knew I had to try something fancy and delicious in my own kitchen! Enter this Fig Cranberry Mozzarella Caprese Salad.

Whenever I make anything with mozzarella I always try to use Stella® Cheeses because they are so flavorful. They come in a variety of forms, from shredded to crumbled and sharp to sweet, perfect for any meal calling for fresh mozzarella cheese. Trust me, if you haven’t used fresh mozzarella before you have to. You will instantly notice the difference it makes in your salads, pastas and casseroles.
