We purchased our first home this last August, and after a couple months of painting we moved in the end of October. I was really excited to get everything organized and even more excited to move into a home we wouldn’t outgrow in less than a year. Everything in its place and a place for everything! That’s my motto for this new way of life, and I’m loving it.

Our master bathroom has significantly more storage than any home or apartment we have previously lived in. Having a double sink is not overrated, I can tell you that much!

We still have some decorating to figure out but honestly, at this point, I couldn’t be happier to live in this house! I’m in no rush to go and buy the first towels and bath mats that I see. I want to buy something that I love and can’t live without, so until then I’m going to love our tan towels against our freshly painted grey walls.

I always told my husband that once we moved into a home that had ample storage that he would see a side of me he’s never seen before. I don’t know what it was, but for some reason living in small apartments the last 9 years has really brought the clutter out of me! For me clutter is soul sucking and I had no motivation to keep things clean because it was impossible to keep clean and clutter free! Not anymore!!! I love having plenty space in each of my cupboards. Some cupboards in our kitchen don’t have anything in them and I love it.

Being clutter free has really motivated me to clean more too. I mean deep clean! Now that I’ve got the clutter and mess taken care of in our home it’s amazing how much easier it is to deep clean our bathrooms.
