The Northern Lights (N.L.) topcoat is the Out The Door Topcoat blended with Silver or Gold Holographic Particles. The bottles must be shaken up as the Particles settle in the bottom, which gives you total control over how much of the N.L. Effects are used with each application. For a more subtle effect just shake the bottle a little, but for a more brilliant effect {which I’m all about}, shake it up a lot. They can be used over any polish/gel, or even on your bare nails.
I chose a dark color so you could really see the Holographic Particles. Next time I’m going to try it on Robin Egg Blue…that will look fab too! The silver is definitely more noticeable and the gold is more subtle.
