Pre-Spring Bash

I love our product review parties hosted by Sweeties Reviews. This month we had a pre-spring bash where we got to try out lots of great brands and test out the Soda Stream!

We were so lucky to have the opportunity to test out so many great products from so many wonderful companies! A lot of whom are from Connecticut themselves!

Like Flips and Turtles from DeMets Candy Company

I love everything about all of their products, but I could honestly eat a Turtle everyday! I love the soft caramel, and I’m pretty sure that’s the only way to eat a pecan, YUM! …so thanks DeMet’s

Cheesy Cajun Stylel Popcorn from Southern Recipe and Tandoor Chef

My husband would have loved this Cheesy Cajun Popcorn. He loves a little extra spice to his food and this popcorn had a lot of flavor! It did have an extra kick to it but I really enjoyed it.

Tandoor Chef really hit it out of the park. They provided a couple entrees and appetizers for us to try out and I absolutely loved the Tandoori Chicken Samosa. I’ve had tandoori chicken before that I absolutely hated, so I was a little weary…but I totally loved Tandoor Chef’s Tandoori.

BRIX Chocolate and Barbara’s Cookie Pies

Each box of BRIX Chocolate tells you how to pair it with wine, which is a really good idea! But even if you don’t drink {like me} you will still enjoy it 🙂

Products like Barbara’s Cookie Pies are the #1 reason I love these review parties so much! I had never heard of Barbar’as Cookie Pies but I’m glad I have now, because they were so good. Like, remember that one time I ate all that caramel popcorn by myself…if I had one of her cookie pies at home, I could definitely eat it all on my own.
My favorite part about Barbara’s Cookie Pies (besides the actual pies of course)…is the fact that they have a Treat of the Month Club. I really don’t understand why more brands/companies don’t do this. It’s genius! Who wouldn’t love to get an awesome cookie pie every month?

Cravebox and Soda Stream

I was so excited to get a Cravebox! This is along the same lines as the Treat of the Month. Best. Idea. Ever. I love it! You receive a box each month that is full of fun, new and useful products in the themes you choose. Each box ranges from $12-$18 with full size products!

We learned more about the Soda Stream and got to sample a few of their many, many flavors. It’s a really cool product that allows you to carbonate regular water. They have lots of soda flavors like orange, root beer, grape, etc. Or flavored sparkling water like orange, raspberry and lemon.

The party was on St. Patrick’s Day so Greg made us Corned Beef and Cabbage. I had never had it before and I can honestly say I’ve been missing out. It was so good, so flavorful and so tender.

So much food and so much fun! Love the Sweetie Review parties! I can’t believe how good everything was.
So glad you finally got to try the New England tradition of corned beef and cabbage! It’s an Irish staple!
