My husband and I had the best opportunity to spend an evening in Schaumburg, Illinois for a progressive dinner at Woodfield Mall. I remember the first time we went to Woodfield Mall when we moved to Illinois, it seemed to go on continually! My husband felt the same way, so we did a little research {i.e. googled “Woodfield Mall”} and learned that it’s not only the largest shopping center in the Chicago area, but in the entire United States.
Not bad!
Needless to say I was pretty excited about living near such a large mall!
Back to our date night…
We started the evening off at their new multi-million-dollar dining pavilion and it was unlike any I have ever seen in any mall. Absolutely beautiful! Trendy and modern, yet comfortable.
We learned more about the new upgrades, then set off for Kinfork BBQ & Tap for appetizers.
We tried out the Hush Puppies, Cheese Curds {which literally changed my life!}, BBQ Wings, and Nachos!
From there we went to Uncle Julio’s where we had the most amazing flavored Lemonades and tried several of their signature entrees.
Guava Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Passion Lemonade knocked my socks off. I literally wish I could drink these each day. Especially the Guava Strawberry. Give me all the Guava!
We also tried out their Tableside Guacamole, Bacon Wrapped Camarones, Chicken & Steak Fajitas, Carnitas Azteca Fajitas and Cazumel Shrimp Tacos. I could not stop eating!!!
Let’s talk about their Chocolate Lovers Pinata! It was insane! It is a chocoalte pinata filled with fruit and churros. When you break the chocolate pinata the filling falls on whipped cream and chocolate. Seriously, it’s a meal in and of itself! So good. So dang good!
And if that dessert wasn’t enough….
…we rolled our way to The Cheesecake Factory for dessert. Or our second dessert. Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to end any dinner. Or night!
This was one of the most fun, well planned events I’ve had the honor of attending. My husband and I had such a great time, and loved meeting some great Chicago bloggers!!!
