“Picky Eater” are not two words I would use to describe my oldest son. He’s always been a really good eater. Willing to try new foods, and loved broccoli! I mean, you can’t get better than that, right? My sweet youngest is a little picker. He would be happy eating bread and crackers, and drinking milk all day so I’ve had to get a little more creative with sneaking other foods in there. Snacks for toddlers can be healthy and tasty too!
One of my favorite snacks is trail mix, he’s a little young to be eating nuts all on his own so I decided to make a toddler version of the old classic. I went to Target with my little whippersnapper, trying to kill some time before big brother was done with school, and let him pick out some treats for his very own snack mix!
He went straight for the Gerber® Lil’ BeaniesTM, which is awesome, and a few other yummy Gerber snacks for his snack mix. What I love most about the Lil’ Beanies is that they are made with navy beans and have 2 grams of protein and 1 gram of fiber. Really important for their growing minds and bodies!
You can either mix all of the snacks together in one bowl, or place each in their own bowl and let your toddler make his or her own snack mix!
Take advantage of the Buy 1 Get $1 iBotta is offering {while supplies last} and head to your local Target to snatch up some snacks for your toddler.
