Since moving into our new home I’ve really experienced the advantages of staying on top of messes! With the holidays around the corner I want to stay on top of Holiday messes, instead of spend all day cleaning. Before we moved here we lived in a couple small apartments, and a small home. It was nearly impossible for me to keep the house clean. I felt like all I did was clean the kitchen all day everyday, and it was exhausting. Honestly, it was discouraging! I can’t say I was always motivated to keep the home clean because of the fact that it never looked like I had done anything. I knew once we moved into a home that had enough room for our things my husband would see a side of me he had never seen before! The side of me that enjoyed keeping the house clean!

We’ve lived here about a month and I can say I’ve made our bed almost everyday, and dishes have piled up in the kitchen sink maybe twice. It’s actually been kind of a dream! Deep cleaning the house isn’t a big deal because everything is already put away in their cupboards and drawers, so it’s a breeze.

There is one things I’ve noticed that I do seem to do several times a day! That is vacuum the kitchen floor.
