I had the opportunity of attending STYLEMAX in Chicago and it was such a fun opportunity to see the 2015 Winter Fashion Trends, as well as 2016 Spring Fashion Trends. STYLEMAX is a tradeshow open to buyers from small boutiques to large department stores, but they allowed bloggers from Chicago to attend this year.
This is a lesson in “it never hurts to ask” because I asked a couple friends if they had any connections within STYLEMAX to potentially attened, and one did! She asked and they oppened their doors to all Chicago fashion bloggers. It was really great!
STYLEMAX is the leading women’s apparel and accessory trade show running 4 times per year at the Merchandise Mart, in Chicago. Each season the show hosts an extensive array of exhibitors. I wanted to share a couple of my favorites with you! {Including a video}
Kingdom and State:
For on-trend European apparel you have to check out Kingdom and State. Their founder, and designer, is from England but decided to move his company to the United States. They carry awesome pieces at a great price! Their swimsuits are amazing too!
Tart Collections:
Based out of San Francisco all of their pieces hold up well for traveling, and are seamless from day to night. Who doesn’t love that?! I also love the fact that all their prints are original, and the fabric they choose is extremely soft. I couldn’t believe how soft. Take your softest t-shirt or sweatshirt and imagine it being 10x softer. It was heavenly!
DREW:
A New York based company produced out of the garment district. They are a lifestyle brand so their pieces are perfect for everything from a casual day to a Saturday night. This coming Spring is all about the 3rd Layer, and they’ve got a lot of cute dusters to choose from. So be on the look out!
