I’m not a big into shouting from the rooftops I HAVE THE BEST HUSBAND EVER!!! Because I hope everyone has the best husband/spouse/significant other ever…if they aren’t the best they aren’t for you. Whenever I see someone post something like “I have the best (fill in the blank) ever,” on Facebook I think to myself, well I don’t know, my husband, mom, dad, etc is pretty great too!!! So I wont be one of those people.

But I will share with you some of the reasons why I love him so much. He is single handedly the best person I have ever met. I have never had anyone treat me as wonderful as he treats me. That’s why I’m the lucky one! I’m so blessed that I get to spend the rest of my life, and eternity, with this cute guy! He gets me, and he adores me! He is a really great dad too. Our baby is, in a word, obsessed with him! Which I love! What more could a girl ask for?

He’s turning the big 3-0! What to do? I mean, that’s a BIG birthday, like big, you can’t just let it go by without making it a special one, right? Well if he had his way he wouldn’t do anything, and no one would know it was such a special day!!! Luckily for him that’s where I come in handy…I like to let everyone know it’s his birthday! I want everyone to have the chance to celebrate him too…so that’s what I did. and will always do!

So I set up a candy table in the main office of the University and one of the nice ladies sent out a generic email to all the students letting them know there were lots of treats in the office! YUM! He was surprised to say the least, which is my favorite…I love it when I surprise actually works, and I hate it when it doesn’t!

I printed this cute 8×10 sign off at Walmart…it was only $3. It looks way better then the ones I printed at home, and it only took them like a half hour to do. It was perfect!
Bought lots of candy that you could suck on, or contained gum and the rest is history!

Since we’re living on a student “salary” we probably wont do much more then this, so I did what I could to make it a special day, and I think all in all he liked the surprise. When he’s done with school we’ll go do something fun/crazy to celebrate…until now we’ll enjoy the simple things :)!
