I love Valentine’s Day…unfortunately this year me and the little one were sick, so I didn’t even get all dressed up a cute! Bummer. But we did celebrate over the weekend, so that worked. Infact, I’m game for celebrating after everyone else anyway-that way you don’t have to celebrate with about a bagillion other people.

Anyway

I love showing my love for someone (I love) by taking time and making something, especially for The. Mr. I’d rather do something like this for him then go buy him a shirt, or sweater because if he needs or wants one we’ll get it anyway! I want to get him something he doesn’t expect! Or do something he wouldn’t suspect! And I did just that!!!

The day I gave The Mr. this bag he sent me a text after eating some salsa a co-worker brought to work

“This salsa is good…but I could use some mints because my breath now stinks. Oh fancy that my secret admirer let me some today!”

They weren’t in that order, but you get the idea!

I also saw this cute frame on Pinterest and new I had to make it for him!

I used a thick 5×7 black frame, similar paper, but no flowers. I love it!

I also made something for the little one too! I saw this when I was pregnant and wanted to make it, just haven’t until now. (I couldn’t make it last year because I didn’t know what day he would arrive!)
