Washington D.C. Cupcakes // Best Cupcakes in D.C.

A few months ago we went to D.C. and it was amazing. The place I was looking forward to visit the most was Georgetown Cupcakes, Washington D.C. Cupcakes. I love cupcakes, I would go to every specialty cupcake shop out there if I could. Georgetown is a beautiful place, you have to do everything within your power to visit if you’re in the vicinity. It’s very, um, east coast.

Just a building with stars on it. Why not?

There is almost always a line here. Part of the reason could be because of their show DC Cupcakes but luckily for me they are legit! These cupcakes were so good. I have been on a coconut kick lately so I bought one of those, and it did not disappoint.

They make upwards of 10,000 cupcakes a day.

I love how they really let the cupcakes do all the talking in this shop. There isn’t a lot of “stuff” that draws your attention away, all you’re looking at are the cupcakes…rightfully so!

That’s a lot of cupcakes…and a LOT of tickets!

Even though there was a line, and there are a lot of orders that need to be taken care of this place is one well oiled machine. Not much room to sit down however.

Love their logo…so clean!

Their logo is so clean, and so are their cupcakes decorations. They are definitely understated, not tall and whimsical like so many cupcakes these days. Easier to eat that way!
