So excited to celebrate this holiday season in our new home and share our Christmas Home Tour with you! We’ve had company in and out and it’s so nice being in a home where our guests have their own space, and bathroom! It is not overrated and I’m so happy that we decided to buy our home. With living in our new house I needed to get a few more Christmas decorations.

It’s amazing, when we lived in Connecticut I thought we had so many Christmas decorations. Then we moved here to Illinois into our first home that we rented for two years and it became apparent quickly that we really didn’t have that many. Now we’re in our home, and the boys are older and understand Christmas and Santa so much better, so I had to get some more decorations to help them feel the spirit of Christmas.

To say I had fun checking out Oriental Trading’s large Christmas selection would be an understatement. They really rounded out the decorations you see on our Christmas Home Tour.

We started a few traditions in our house this year too! I was so excited for this reindeer game to come because I knew my oldest son would love it. I also wrapped all our Christmas books so my boys could open a present every night leading up to Christmas. I wrapped them all in November because I knew December would be a crazy time, and I’m so glad I did!

We also did a few Christmas crafts that the boys had fun making. We made a countdown chain and candy cane elves and they had an absolute blast!
