Fall 2013 Fashion Trend Dark Romance

With September’s Fashion Week behind us it’s kind of fun thinking about what trends we have to look forward to come Spring! Turns out it’s Fall 2013, not Spring 2014, so what’s the trend now? Let’s think back to what we saw on the runway last February! Do you remember? This picture of Jessica Biel at an MTV Music Awards after party gives us a good idea:

They’re calling this trend Dark Romance! Isn’t that the best? Who doesn’t want to dress romantically when they go out?

Such a fun trend going on right now, and I’m excited to share with you a few pieces that I think would add a lot to any wardrobe this fall!

Dark blues, velvet and all things lace make up this sophisticated trend. Look for lots of leather, sheer and florals against blacks, navy and wine red! Adds a bit of mystery don’t ya think? These fun fabrics add a romantic, yet gothic appeal!
