Holiday Party || Clothes and Jewelry Perfect For A Holiday Party

I was recently introduced to an amazing Fine Jewelry company called AU | RATE. They have beautiful jewelry. I was so impressed with the quality of their pieces, and how they packaged each item that I had to tell you about them. Each item is packaged in a beautiful pink box, and each item is carefully placed in a pink leather pouch. Their attention to detail was not lost on me.

The holidays are quickly coming upon us, so I put together a few pieces that would really make you shine at your holiday party {or parties}. Literally and figuratively. From now until New Years Eve the more sparkle and shine you can add to your outfits the better.

Bring on the sequins, embellished mesh, fringe, statement pieces, and metallic everything and anything!

What are your plans for the holidays? Do you have any special traditions you’re looking forward to?

I just recently learned of a fun tradition that my friend does with her kids and I’m obsessed. I can’t wait to implement it. Now that I’m a mom I’m all about teaching my kids that giving is the best part of Christmas, and that Jesus is the reason for the season. We are celebrating Him and His birth. Not just receiving gifts from Santa.

Our new tradition: During month of December, each Sunday, we will each draw a name of a family member. During that week we will serve that member of the family that we drew. If we notice we have been served by a member of our family we grab a piece of straw and place it in the manger. Then the following Sunday we draw another name.

That way by Christmas morning Jesus has a comfy bed of straw to lay in when he is born.

I thought it was the most beautiful idea and I cannot wait to implement it with my own family.
