Wearing pastels can be tricky, I mean you don’t want to look like a toddler running around, or an Easter egg…do you? Here are my go to tips when it comes to pastel:
- Don’t wear pastels head to toe. Sure you can have a pale pink top with mint green skinnies, but wear a neutral shoe, belt and or purse.
- If you’re a little nervous to dive right into the pastel trend start small! Put on your favorite white tee, a pair of jeans and rock any one of the nail polishes from the L’Oreal Versailles Romance Collection paired with a pastel statement necklace.
- You don’t want to look too sweet! Wear that lace top with your pink skinnies for sure, just spice it up with a pair of spiked heels and a matching bracelet…like these

Mix pastels with bright colors. Like the pastel coral with bright coral, or with neon yellow!
Pale Yellow:

Pale yellow is a tough color to wear, but it makes for a killer accessory! How amazing is that outfit? Don’t be afraid to wear Creme Puffs if you haven’t achieved that summer tan! I’m nowhere near tan and I loved it!
Pastel Purple:

Purple is a showstopper with white, it looks so crisp and clean! You can’t go wrong.
Baby Blue:

Try wearing baby blue on the girly side, with a bow and ruffles. Just make sure you pair it with a neutral like white or black when you do. Or you can go crazy and pair it with an awesome coral or red, like J’s everyday fashion does!
Last but not least mix and match your nail polish like this! The trend of wearing a different nail polish color on your ring fingers is in full swing…so do it! I LOVE nail polish, it’s seriously on my top 5 must have list because it takes every outfit to the next level!
