Lamp Redo!
No overhead lighting here so we needed them bad.
I LOVE this lamp
I love the shape of the base and I especially love the lampshade
Retail $120…are.you.kidding.me!?!
That’s obviously not going to happen
So I went looking for something similar
Well I found these puppies for $12
One of them didn’t work so I talked them down to $10 total
I played with covering the lampshades, but ultimately found that would take too much time. One day while at WalMart I decided I’d give their lampshades a shot and it was love at first sight!
Not only did they have the type of writing I wanted, but they were $10 a piece.
I found my lamps, I found my lampshades now all I needed to do was redo the bases
My color of choice:
Oil Rubbed Bronze
Rusto-oleum is amazing
This color has little flecks of gold that will rock your world!
I put them in our bedroom
Pictured with the pillows we have on our bed…looks nice eh?
It makes me so happy when I look in our bedroom and see these lamps and our pillows that I love…now I just need to make our bed everyday so I can always experience such happiness!
