Mix and Match Patterns: Stripes, Floral and Leopard

I struck gold when I found this skirt. I just happened to stroll into Old Navy one sunny afternoon looking for a pencil skirt, and I found one. Literally, there was only one! And it was just my size. It is the most versatile piece ever because it can be dressed up with a cute cardigan or dressed down with a fun, oversized t-shirt. You seriously can’t go wrong! I probably wore it four times in the last two weeks? I tend to do that with new skirts or jeans…wear them over and over and over again, different style each time.

My favorite has to be pairing it with this floral blouse and leopard flats. Mixing patterns is so fun, and pretty much anything goes. When deciding what to pair with this skirt I think of it as a neutral and make sure everything else goes well together. You don’t want to look too disheveled. If you really pay attention you’ll see the blues don’t really match but it still looks great.

As long as the colors would be in the same quadrant of a crayon box you’re safe!
