It’s starting to warm up a little bit here in Chicago, and I’m so ready for it. The first few days of high humidity still get to me, but high heat and high humidity just means more days at the pool for us. Which we love! Today I thought it would be fun to talk a little bit about how we get ready for summer around here, including part of my summer beauty routine, and my Pink Lemonade Sheet Cake Recipe with y’all.

My everyday beauty routine includes sunblock. Even in the winter! I don’t miss it.
However, if I’m being honest, I’m not the best at wearing sunblock on my arms and legs. I’m pretty good at staying in the shade, but if I’m at a ball game for one of my boys I don’t put it on. I just don’t like the way it smells or feels.
I never, ever, ever, miss wearing SPF on my face and décolletage though. Which is why Olay Complete with SPF 15 is perfect for everyday use.
My mom wore Olay Complete All-Day Moisturizer SPF 15 growing up and still does. So it has just always made sense for me to wear it too. You can purchase your very own Olay Complete All-Day Moisturizer SPF 15 HERE
Here are a few of the reasons I {and you will too} love Olay Complete All-Day Moisturizer
I’m starting my kids young too. Infact my six and 4-year-old make sure I always put sunblock on them when they go outside. It’s such a relief knowing that they are learning the tools they need to keep their skin and bodies safe and healthy. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching your kids make good decisions!
So how do I get my kids to wear sunscreen? It’s just like everything, I started them young. Whenever they go outside they ask me to put sunblock on.
Here’s a few other things I started young:
And many other things. Are they perfect at all of them? Absolutely not, none of us are! Sometimes they sneak a treat, but I can let that slide. Ha!
Another way I suggest you get ready for summer is trying out this 30-Minute Pink Lemonade Sheet Cake Recipe. 30-Minutes my friends. It’s delicious, melts in your mouth and it will be gone before you know it. Summer is full of fun and lazy days, so you don’t want to be stuck baking in a hot kitchen all day.
We love a good sheet cake around here. YUM!
I’m really excited to share this Pink Lemonade Sheet Cake Recipe because it’s perfect for summer! When I think summer I think about BBQ’s, swimming, fireworks, and super fun lazy days outside. What do these all have in common? Being outside! …So don’t forget to wear your Olay Complete All-Day Moisturizer SPF 15.
