Summer Has Come and Gone

Can you believe summer has pretty much come and gone? I have no idea where it went. It was kind of a weird summer as far as weather was concerned to be honest. We didn’t even go to the pool once during August! NOT ONCE! For some reason they love to keep the temperature of the pool right around freezing. That’s perfect if it’s 90 degrees outside with humidity at 98% but that’s not really how August went. It was almost too cold to go because it wasn’t humid enough and I swear there was always a breeze. Too hot to play outside, but not humid enough to go swimming. Weird.

Last year at this time I was in Utah visiting family for two weeks, this year I’m here, and who knows where we will be next September. My husband graduates next August so it should be a pretty eventful year.

Here are some pictures from our summer:

My first trip to the Big Apple by myself, and I had a driver. That’s the way to do it! It will probably never happen again, haha!

Met Elisabeth Hasselbeck at an event in NYC

It was rare being able to spend time with this guy! Let alone a whole day at the Aquarium in Mystic.

We spent lots of time playing golf! Love these perfect golf clubs for my toddler!

Shaved head for summer, bow tie and books. This boy loves to read!

NYC with my main squeeze!

Going to Rhode Island was so much fun. Check out more pictures here

Swimming with this little guy! The water was freezing but he was always in it. Sometimes the only one  because no other kids would touch it! {I was always in the pool with him of course}

Fun little flotation device. He could swim all on his own with it!
Meeting the Maker & Co. creator and designer. Nicest, most humble guy ever!
Attending blogging events with this cute little guy!

Spending lots of time with this little guy. Days and nights can be very long when married to a full time student, and I could not be more grateful to have him in my life!
