The Perfect Mom Capsule Wardrobe // Comfortable and Stylish Wardrobe

This is not a How-To post per se. More so a post about how I determined my Perfect Mom Capsule Wardrobe. It’s both comfortable and stylish. Both are very important, right?

My body just hasn’t been the same since my last baby. I had no problem getting down to weight, which I realize is wonderful, but my stomach has been a real problem. My diastases recti is out of this world and nothing I do seems to help. Total bummer right?

Now all my shorts, and some of my skinny jeans just are not comfortable. If they looked cute then it might be worth wearing them. However, they don’t even look cute so it’s definitely not worth it. Right?!

I’ve found a few items that I absolutely love, and cannot live without. I thought I’d share them with you here, incase you’re going through the same thing.

The Perfect Mom Capsule Wardrobe

Open-Front Sweater

This sweater is perfect for those cool summer nights, or out to dinner and a movie with your girlfriends! I love this sweater. It is so soft, lightweight, and has such a flattering fit. I love pairing it with a pair of {my favorite} Mid-Rise Pixie Ankle Pants. Your legs will look lengthened and so skinny!

The only downside of this long sweater is the fact that it hides your butt. No, really! If you have a good butt it will be hidden. Yet, still totally worth it.

Mid-Rise Pixie Ankle Pants

I couldn’t begin to tell you how much I love the Mid-Rise Pixie Ankle Pants. The Mid-Rise fits perfectly over all the problem areas, and the stretch is unlike anything I’ve ever worn before. The length is perfect for a cute pair of Tory Burch Flats or Sandals, or even a cool pair of Chuck Taylors.

These flats are so timeless. No matter how inexpensive your clothes are, if you pair them with a pair of pricy flats or shoes it will immediately upgrade your whole look. Trust me!

I have them in the following colors:

• Leopard

I may eventually get them in brown, but I really don’t wear brown all that often. And that may not be a good enough reason to purchase an expensive pair of shoes. However, brown does look great with navy…and I have those NavyMid-Rise PIxie Ankle Pants, so perhaps I should get a pair.

Tory Burch ‘Miller’ Flip Flop

Obsessed. That is one word I can use when describing my love for these shoes. They are the same as the flats, but obviously perfect for summer. Find a way to get yourself a pair.
