I love this time of year. Love it! Suddenly every weekend through the end of the year is full of fun activities we can do as a family. Everything from carving pumpkins and drinking hot cocoa, to dressing fancy and going to The Nutcracker! Isn’t it the best?

That’s another fun thing about late fall, and winter. So many reasons to dress up in nice outfits.

Today I’m sharing some cute outfits to inspire your holiday family photo, and other special holiday plans. From the extra fancy, to the fun traditions we all look forward to. For me one of my most favorite holiday traditions is decorating gingerbread houses! I’m not saying putting your boys in matching and coordinating outfits for these traditions is mandatory, but it sure is fun!

I was blown away by how many cute options I had to choose from, that all coordinated! Meijer’s clothing lines are so well done. Perfect for families!

Let’s talk about my outfit first. I chose this amazing Ophelia Roe faux fur vest, and paired it with a maroon skirt, and this yellow sweater from the Falls Creek line at Meijer. Falls Creek is a great option for women’s apparel & accessories.

A good faux fur vest can transform any outfit into fall, and winter. This maroon skirt is a beautiful, vibrant piece. One of my favorite color combinations this season is red and maroon. The outfit ideas I have for this specific piece are endless. Then there’s the adorable yellow sweater. My boys died over the cute dog. They thought it was so fun! There’s also the fact that it matches perfectly with my boys’ pieces too. It was for sure a must have!

I normally have all three of my boys wearing the same thing, but my oldest is 7 now! I can’t believe it, but I think it’s time he gets to wear his own little outfit. How do they grow up so fast? 

Is there anything better than being able to grab a cute new sweater for yourself, and an outfit for your children, while you’re getting some groceries and filling up your car with gas?

I remember the first time I heard about Meijer. When we first moved to Illinois they were building two new stores near our home. My good friend was talking about how excited she was because it was her home away from home while her husband was away at school in Georgia. By the way she spoke about it, I just knew I would love it too!

Now, almost 3 years later, I can definitely confirm that I do love my neighborhood Meijer stores.
