I love pumpkin and I love Nutella, so it only make sense that together they would combine to be a killer combination! I think they were made for each other. Needless to say, this particular bread didn’t last long around here.
Pumpkin Nutella Swirl Bread
Recipe adapted from A Pinch of Glitter
Ingredients
- 1 cup oil
- 2-2/3 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 can (15 oz.) Pumpkin puree
- 2/3 cup water
- 3-1/3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbs. pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 jar (13 oz.) Nutella, divided
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the oil, sugar, eggs, pumpkin and water
- Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pumpkin spice, and vanilla and stir until combined (batter may be slightly lumpy)
- Pour 1/4 of the batter into the bottom of two 9×5 loaf pans (using only half of the batter total)
- Slightly warm the Nutella in the microwave in 10 second increments and stir, repeating 3 times, or until it is a runny consistency
- Pour half of the Nutella in each loaf pan, and spread evenly over the entire layer of bread batter
- Divide the remaining batter evenly between the two loaves and pour on top of the Nutella layer
- Using a knife, lightly swirl the Nutella around
- Bake at 350 for 60-80 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center
- Wait 15 minutes, remove bread from pans, allow to cool on a wire rack
- Drizzle melted Nutella on top if desired
