I really love this recipe because it’s quick and so delicious. It’s perfect when you’re in a pinch. It is not necessary to make homemade ravioli when you can buy them already prepared. I mean, unless you want to make them obviously. After trying this recipe I’m a believer, I need to have frozen ravioli on hand.
Ravioli with Apples and Walnuts Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds cheese ravioli {fresh or frozen}
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1 apple, cut into matchsticks {I used Pink Lady}
- Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook ravioli according to package instructions
- Heat oil in skillet over low to medium heat. Add the chopped walnuts and cook, consistently stirring, until lightly toasted. You do not want to over cook your walnuts!
- Add the apples, parsley and toss to combine
- Spoon over the ravioli and sprinkle with parmesan cheese
- Enjoy!
