These are so fun to make with children. My son loved to pick out which color sprinkles to use on which donut. I love baking and cooking with him. Helping him measure, pour, stir, and teaching him about different ingredients is something we both really like to do. I try to give him a lot of opportunities to make decisions. Picking the color of sprinkles may sound silly but I really think that teaching him how to make decisions early on is important.
This recipe is perfect for those of you who prefer a darker chocolate flavor, as opposed to my sweet husband who is a 100% milk chocolate all the way! Like it’s borderline ridiculous you guys. ha! These babies are good enough without the glaze my friends, but if you’re like my son and love sugar then you’ll probably want to go ahead and dunk these.
